Rabbi Tamir Nir will share his wisdom on the parsha during our Shabbat service. Following the service, he will join us for lunch. He will speak on the topic: "How will Israel vote THIS time? Israel in search of its Jewish soul."

Tamir Nir is the rabbi of 'Kehilat Achva B’Kerem' community in Jerusalem, which he founded in 2007. He teaches Bible and Jewish thought at a mixed High school (religious and secular) and serves as chairman of the Heschel Center for Social and Environmental Thinking and Sustainability. Rabbi Nir served as deputy mayor of Jerusalem (elected) and as the head of The Secular Yeshiva in Tel Aviv, "BINA"--The Jewish Movement for Social Change.
