ABOUT LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION & ENGAGEMENT AT FEDERATION 

The Leadership, Education & Engagement Department at Federation (LEED) serves as a community resource for Jewish education and engagement opportunities, and lay and professional leadership development. LEED offers its own programs and supports educators, institutions, and learners across Greater Hartford's Jewish community in their own Jewish journeys. LEED is the only community-wide professional development and Jewish education resource in Greater Hartford--and we're here to help! As our community's needs change, we work collaboratively to respond to those needs, promoting growth and inclusivity.

LEED enhances the quality of formal and informal Jewish education and engagement by:

• Promoting enrollment and participation in Jewish education at all levels
• Advocating on behalf of students, parents, institutions and professionals involved in Jewish education
• Nurturing the professional growth of our community's Jewish educators
• Facilitating cooperation and collaboration among schools and community organizations
• Offering creative and exciting opportunities for Jewish learning that are open to everyone
• Remaining responsive to the changing needs of our community
