EMPLOYABILITY

Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford and Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford are partners in the EmployAbility Collaborative, which encourages Jewish employers to provide employment opportunities for young Jewish adults living with disability. We aim to mobilize enough local Jewish employers to provide employment for every Jewish adult in Greater Hartford living with disability who wants to work and possesses the skills to make a valuable contribution.

Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford takes the lead in hiring staff, providing job coach training, managing the initiative, accessing DDS funding, submitting grant applications, and receiving donor support. To learn more, please contact Joan Margolis.
