The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Hartford stand with Israel. We work diligently to educate and advocate on behalf of Israel and to strongly support a safe, Jewish and democratic State of Israel.

We are committed to the sanctity of Israel as a sovereign state and the well-being of Jews worldwide, fostering understanding of Israel and maintaining an emergency response system to crises in Israel in conjunction with The Jewish Federations of North America and our partner organizations. As part of our commitment to Jewish people throughout the world, we have developed special relationships with two sister cities in Israel. These partnerships bring the Greater Hartford community together with the cities of Afula and Gilboa for special projects, cultural, educational and professional exchanges, as well as missions and visits. Each partnership furthers our commitment to Klal Yisrael, the unity of our worldwide Jewish family and Tikkun Olam, repairing the world.
